Often it is said what is really important to us should be conveyed in writing to the person(s) who have had a significant impact on our life. Therefore, I am taking this opportunity to write a few words concerning my Trainer, Paige Perla of P2 Equestrian. I have known Paige for five years and came back to ride with Paige at 65 years old. I am an experienced older amateur hunter rider who lost her confidence and became afraid to ride. I could not find any trainer who wanted to put the pieces back together. My husband suggested that I call Paige because of my previous positive experience riding with her. So I contacted Paige and explained my circumstances. Now six months later I am jumping around a 2.9 course and looking forward to 2020 show season. How did I get there from complete fear unable to trot a pole on the ground to regaining my complete confidence back Let me tell you just some of the incredible things Paige did for me (not all inclusive):
Paige personally let me use her horse to ride.
Paige is the most patient Trainer I have known.
Paige puts the safety and rider first.
Paige instilled in me my confidence by her in-depth knowledge of how to train a rider and the horse together as a team.
Paige never gives up on you as a rider.
Paige has excellent communication skills before, during and after the lesson.
Paige always has time to listen to the rider.
Paige is always so kind to the horses.
So, no matter if you want to be a Grand Prix rider or just learn to ride for fun she is your trainer. And speaking of fun Paige always makes the lessons fun. Isn’t that why we ride?
Thank you Paige for everything you have done for me.
